Before purchasing or using a bike rack, it is important to consider the tongue weight rating of your particular vehicle hitch. Tongue weight rating can be found in the vehicle owner’s manual or printed on the hitch. Tongue weight is the static downward force that the hitch receiver can safely handle while hauling. Exceeding the listed tongue weight rating can result in a slow degradation of the rack or a sudden catastrophic failure where the entire rack and loaded bike(s) fall off onto the road.

When thinking about the weight of your load, of course you’ll consider the weight of the bike(s) you want to haul; but, don’t forget to also add in the weight of the QuikrStuff products you are attaching to your vehicle (rack, add-on, ramp).

QuikrStuff Product Weights

Mach2 2″ bike rack – 30.7 pounds

Mach2 1.25″ bike rack – currently undergoing a revision; will post the new weight soon

Each add-on – 22.7 pounds

Ramp – 12 pounds

Example: Your vehicle has a listed tongue weight of 200 pounds. You want to carry two bikes that weigh 60 pounds each. The bike rack and add-on together weigh 53.4 pounds. This is a total weight of 173.4 pounds, so it would be safe to haul your bikes with our system.

Using an extension, adapter, or swing away arm interferes with the standard formula above, making it nearly impossible to determine the allowable weight capacity. That is why we state in our warranty policy that the use of these and other third-party products will void the warranty on our products.

Excellent!

Like others, I researched many bike rack options before deciding to purchase from QuikrStuff. I was sold on the no-tools assembly/installation as well as the variety of accessories. I have had it for about 8 months now and am still extremely pleased with my purchase. The initial assembly had a bit of a learning curve, but the YouTube videos, instruction manual, and extremely quick responses from the customer service team helped me out, and now it’s second nature to install and remove the rack. I can tell it is very durable, and it’s already survived a winter with negative temperatures and most of a hot and humid summer in the south. I also appreciate the different rack positions so I can easily access my hatch area, and that despite the quality materials it’s light enough for me to carry around.

This rack kicks ****!

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our new bike rack. We carry 2 Rad Radster bikes about 70 Lbs each and it handles it with no problem. We tired the 1UP rack and it interfered with the fenders...we had to return it. Then I came across your rack,... I will tell you, I wish we found it first. Your no tool design takes a dump on the 1UP..... Not sure if you're trying to accomplish that, but if you were you succeeded. The only correction I made to the rack was, I put a piece of half inch thick nylon plastic at the bottom of the ramp to keep it from getting damaged. Not that it really matters,..I'm just kind of particular about keeping my stuff nice. You guys are true rock stars in the bike rack industry. Thanks for making to kick **** rack. Look forward to seeing new products.

Hello. Rather than fill out a questionnaire I thought I’d write to let you know about our experience with our QuikR Stuff bike rack.

We purchased our rack last October. We ordered a second module for a second bike and a ramp. The rack is mounted on our Wagoneer. During our travels the Wagoneer is attached to our Class A motorcoach.

Since last October our motorcoach, Wagoneer, and bike rack with two heavy e-bikes have been to southern Florida and back from central Minnesota (5000 miles) and just recently completed a 3800 mile trip from central Minnesota to South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nebraska, South Dakota and back to Minnesota. We loaded, unloaded and rode our bikes in five national parks along the way.

Not once in just under 9000 miles hauling our bikes around the United States did we have an issue with the rack. Very, very, very impressive. The rack gave us the comfort we needed during our travels as the bikes were on the rack attached to our Wagoneer which was attached to our motorcoach. Needless to say one does not have a very good view of bikes while driving a Class A motorcoach down the road. We couldn’t be more pleased with the QuikR Stuff rack.

Thank you for producing such a high quality rack that provides much comfort while traveling down all types of highways. Here are a few pics of the rack and bikes.

Feel free to share our comments to the individuals who designed and built the rack. They deserve a lot of credit.

Have a great 4th of July.

"Unmatched Quality and Convenience: The Quikr Stuff Mach 2 Exceeds Expectations"

I purchased the Quikr Stuff Mach 2 back in November 2022, and it has been an outstanding addition to my biking gear. This rack is incredibly easy to use, and I can quickly add extensions or attach and remove it from my vehicle with minimal effort. It is, without a doubt, the most sturdy and robust solution on the market.

One of the standout features of the Mach 2 is its simplicity in adjusting for different bike sizes without needing any tools. This is a significant advantage, as it saves time and hassle, making it extremely user-friendly. I have a substantial investment in my mountain bikes, and this rack, which costs only a fraction of that investment, provides me with immense peace of mind. When I look in the rearview mirror, I can see that my bikes are secure, thanks to the Mach 2's exceptional design.

Since my initial purchase, I've added another two extensions to accommodate four bikes for those occasions when my crew and I want to minimize travel costs and carpool. This additional capacity has proven invaluable, making group trips more convenient and cost-effective. The ease with which these extensions integrate into the existing system is remarkable, maintaining the same level of sturdiness and security.

Another aspect I appreciate is that the Mach 2 is built in the USA, supporting local suppliers and labor. This aligns perfectly with my core values, and I take pride in using a product that contributes to the domestic economy.

I have ZERO complaints about the Mach 2 and highly recommend the Quikr Stuff brand to anyone willing to listen. The innovative design reflects the company's leadership and commitment to excellence. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and robust bike rack, the Mach 2 is the way to go.

The greatest rack ever

I love this thing. It's ready to go out of the box, just unfold. It takes up minimal space when folded. It doesn't get wobbly over time. It survives the elements. It looks cool.
