No need to ditch a bike rack that’s still doing its job—but if you’ve been thinking about an upgrade, you’re not alone. That’s the route Scott J. took after seeing the Quik Rack Mach2 bike rack in person.
Scott’s Story
There I was, competing at the 2026 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo–an awesome event for mountain bikers–when I ran across the QuikrStuff booth in 24 Hour Town.
I had owned a similar rack for years and was basically okay with it, but also had learned a few of its shortcomings, some of which damaged one of my bikes. My rack also fell short in the area of weight, security, ease of use and versatility between different types of bikes.
After checking out the QuikrStuff Quik Rack Mach2 bike rack at the event, I went back to my camp and sold my current rack and purchased a QuikrStuff main rack and add-on the next day.
And yeah, it rocks. I couldn’t be happier with the Mach2’s ease of use, the detachable second rail, and the complete integration of the various components.
You know what else is awesome? I didn’t have to buy a bunch of accessories like the handle for moving the rack up and down or special moldings for the road bike.
Time to upgrade?
