QuikrStuff Heads to the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival and Partners with Tern Bicycles
QuikrStuff recently traveled south to Sedona, Arizona for the 2025 Sedona Mountain Bike Festival. With beautiful scenery, epic trails, and great food, this event has quickly become a favorite amongst brands and customers alike. While we were hoping for perfect Spring riding weather, we encountered what the locals refer to as “Snowdona”. Miraculously, the chilly and wet weather barely put a dent in the festival.
The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival draws not only visitors from all over the country but also brings a sense of pride to the local community. Even with the cold, there was an undeniable camaraderie amongst riders and vendors, making the weather feel more like a fun challenge than an obstacle. The commitment to the event was evidenced with full parking lots and endless people walking and riding up the hill to the entrance, heads tucked against the oncoming sleet. It was obvious that this festival has become key to Sedona’s identity as a biking destination.
Sedona Scenery Breathtaking No Matter What
We were lucky to get out on the world class trails a few times ourselves. Some of our favorite trails were Chuckwagon, Grand Central, Ground Control, and Canyon of Fools. Electric mountain bikes were demoed at the nearby Soldier’s Pass jeep road. One of our standout moments was riding Ground Control early one morning. It was grey and overcast, and just at the top of the climb, the sun peeked through the clouds. Despite the cold, the landscape was absolutely breathtaking.
Showcasing the Tern Orox: A Perfect Match with the QuikrStuff Mach2 Rack
On our way to Sedona, we stopped at Singletrack Bike Shop in Flagstaff for the prearranged pick up of a Tern Orox cargo ebike. The staff there was very friendly and attentive getting us set up with the bike. QuikrStuff is partnering with Tern to showcase their top-end cargo hauler, as the Quik Rack Mach2 easily accommodates long cargo ebikes like the Orox. Transporting the Orox highlights the Mach2’s high weight capacity, build quality, and versatility. We found the bike to have smooth handling, and when riding it wasn’t nearly as cumbersome as it appears. The Bosch motor and Gates Carbon Drive belt keep power delivery smooth, quiet, and efficient. Safe to say we are impressed with this offering from Tern.
With the Tern turning heads at the festival, we often had to ask, “Hey, are you checking out the bike or the rack?” The answer was almost always “Both!” And that’s the beauty of great partnerships in the biking world.
