Meet Zane – One of QuikrStuff’s Dads

June 17, 2026

It’s Father’s Day, the perfect time to introduce you to Zane–QuikrStuff team member and father extraordinaire! Perhaps you’ve had the pleasure of working with Zane in Customer Service. Or, you may have seen him in some of our QuikrStuff videos. If not, rest assured that he has either machined your Mach2, assembled it, or been integral in some other way in getting your rack out the door and into your hands.

Q:  First of all, since it’s Father’s Day, tell us about your kids and what you love about being a father.

I have two wonderful children: a 7-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter.

My son is loving and kind to everyone he meets. He has a strong sense of adventure and is always willing to take on a challenge. While he may be nervous or scared at first, once he gives something a try, he usually succeeds and can’t wait to do it again.

My daughter is a typical 6-year-old girl in many ways. She is loving, caring, and compassionate toward everyone she meets. She loves unicorns, dresses, shoes, and jewelry. She can be timid at times, but she has a wonderful imagination and is constantly humming tunes and making up her own songs.

I love both of my children more than words can express, and I would do anything for them.

What I love most about being a father is watching them show love and kindness to others and to each other. Like all children, they sometimes get carried away, become frustrated, or have moments when emotions get the better of them. But through it all, I see the Godly values my wife and I have worked to instill in them. More than anything, I see their love for one another and for the people around them. That’s what makes me incredibly proud to be a father.

Q: What is your role at QuikrStuff and what do you love about the job?

My role at Quikrstuff has included a little bit of everything. When I first started here, I ran the machining night shift with a couple of the guys. Next, I moved over to assembly and learned how to build the Mach2. About a year ago, an opportunity opened up in Customer Service, and with my background and love of working with people, I decided to make the jump.

One of the things I love most about my job is the people I work with. We have some incredible characters at the shop who rarely get the recognition they deserve. They work tirelessly behind the scenes every day, doing whatever it takes to get racks built and shipped out the door. Their dedication and work ethic are a big part of what makes QuikrStuff successful.

I also appreciate the hours and the flexibility my job provides. Many of the jobs I’ve had throughout my life required schedules that made it difficult to spend quality time with my family. This job has given me the opportunity to be present during my children’s early years and to play an active role in raising them. Even now, it allows me to spend time with them after work and watch them grow up. That is something I will always be grateful for.

Q: What else do we need to know about you?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors with my family and friends. Mountain biking has become one of my favorite hobbies. And it’s something I can share with my children. Whether it’s biking, camping, hiking, or simply being outside, I am happiest when I’m out on an adventure.

I have always been drawn to challenging myself. Over the years, I’ve completed a Tough Mudder, participated in multiple 5K races, and biked over 100 miles on the White Rim Trail over four days. I wouldn’t consider myself the most physically gifted or fit person in the world, but one thing I can say with confidence is that I don’t quit. When I commit to something, I see it through.

In fact, while writing this, I’m planning a weekend trip to Colorado Springs with my family to hike the Manitou Incline. Experiences like that are important to me because they combine adventure, challenge, and quality time with the people I love most.

I also try to be the kind of person others can count on. If someone needs help and it’s within my ability to assist, I will do everything I can to lend a hand. I strive to maintain a positive attitude and look for the good in situations. I may have moments when I get frustrated or angry, but I always try to learn from those experiences and move forward.

At the end of the day, the things that matter most to me are my family, helping others, embracing new challenges, and making the most of the time that God has granted me.
